Make confident technology decisions with a clear path to implementation.

When a technology decision affects operations, cost and future delivery, the options need to be understandable. We assess the current situation, make tradeoffs explicit and turn a preferred direction into work your team can act on.

When this
work matters.

  • 01

A critical application is becoming harder to change, but a full replacement would disrupt the business.

  • 02

Several teams or suppliers have proposed different architectures and you need a common decision framework.

  • 03

A promising AI idea needs a realistic assessment of data, risk, operating cost and delivery effort.

  • 04

The next investment needs a bounded scope, dependencies and acceptance criteria before delivery starts.

Make the work tangible.

Scope is agreed around your business priorities, existing systems and delivery constraints.

What we can help with

  • Technology and application assessments
  • Solution architecture and integration design
  • Modernization roadmaps and delivery planning
  • AI readiness and use-case assessment
  • Cloud readiness and migration options
  • Build, buy or configure evaluation
THE HANDOVER

What you leave with

  • A current-state assessment with findings, evidence gaps and business constraints.
  • A comparison of viable options, including assumptions, dependencies and material tradeoffs.
  • Target architecture and integration boundaries explained for technical and business stakeholders.
  • A sequenced roadmap with an initial delivery scope, acceptance criteria and decision owners.
  • A handover session and decision record that your team can use with internal or external delivery partners.

A clear sequence.
A shared view of progress.

  1. 01

    Frame the decision

Agree the business outcome, decision deadline and constraints. Identify the people who use, own, secure and operate the affected systems.

  2. 02

    Inspect the current state

Review available architecture, code, workflows and operating information. Separate verified findings from assumptions and test the uncertainties that could change the recommendation.

  3. 03

    Compare practical options

Evaluate incremental change, replacement, configuration and purchase against the same criteria. Make transitional costs and delivery dependencies visible.

  4. 04

    Make the next increment actionable

Define a delivery sequence, initial acceptance criteria and ownership. Review the recommendation together so the next decision has a clear basis.

Useful questions.
Straight answers.

Do we need a complete specification before starting?

No. A clearly described business problem and access to the relevant owners are a useful starting point. We agree what the assessment will answer and which unknowns it can reasonably resolve.

Can our existing team implement the recommendation?

Yes. The agreed deliverables can support your own team, an existing partner or a subsequent HexDelta implementation. Responsibilities and any follow-on work are decided explicitly.

What access will an assessment require?

It depends on scope. Relevant documentation, workflow walkthroughs and sample operating data may be enough initially. Any code, system or data access is agreed with appropriate permissions and handling requirements.

How do you handle recommendations that remain uncertain?

We record the uncertainty, its effect on the decision and the evidence needed to resolve it. A bounded technical experiment may be more useful than presenting an untested assumption as a final answer.
